Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are looking for an outgoing and energetic individual to assist our fundraising 5K race director with event preparations and event management. Individual must have their own transportation, and be available to work 6-8 flexible hours per week for $18 per hour during the six week period of October 1 through November 7. Exact hours and days will be negotiable.
ABOUT US:
The DDD Foundation is a nonprofit dental clinic that serves more than 5,100 patients with developmental disabilities. We are located on Clairmont Road, close to I-85.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Good physical condition. Ability to help with tasks such as lifting cases of water, or walking quickly over an extended period of time.
· An eagerness to help others
· The ability to think critically and take initiative
· Comfortable around people who have developmental disabilities
NEED TO KNOW:
· Applicant must be able to help at an early-morning event on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Start time is 5AM. This will be paid as an 8-hour day, even though the event will end by about 10AM.
· Applicant must be 18 or older.
· Applicant MAY be asked to run local errands. If that is the case, mileage will be reimbursed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Fundraising Event Planning and Execution
· Help promote 5K fundraiser to area residents and businesses
· Help with event supply organization (will require lifting storage bins or cases of water)
· Preparing event medals and trophies
· Assemble event signage
· Distribute city-approved yard signs
