Independent Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth Medical Evaluations

Location: Burbank, CA/ Remote / Telehealth
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract

We are seeking an experienced  Independent Nurse Practitioner (NP)to conduct medical evaluations through our telehealth platform.

Position Overview

The Independent Nurse Practitioner will conduct medical evaluations of patients through telehealth and provide accurate, thorough, and clinically appropriate documentation based on each evaluation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP who enjoys clinical evaluation, independent practice, telemedicine, and working within an innovative telehealth environment.

The NP will work within their state-authorized scope of practice and in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and company clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations through secure telehealth technology.
• Obtain and document relevant medical histories and clinical information.
• Perform appropriate clinical assessments based on the nature and purpose of each evaluation.
• Review available medical records and other relevant documentation when provided.
• Develop appropriate clinical impressions and recommendations within the NP's scope of practice.
• Prepare clear, accurate, thorough, and timely evaluation reports.
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and professionalism.
• Follow established clinical protocols, workflows, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with the company's Medical Director and clinical team when appropriate.
• Maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state(s).
• Authorized to practice independently within the applicable state(s), as required for assigned evaluations.
• Experience with telemedicine/telehealth is strongly preferred but not required.
