Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician – V&V Carpet Care

As we expand, we’re looking for a Lead Technician who can take ownership of jobs, represent our brand, and help guide future team members.

Position Overview

The Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing residential and commercial carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, stain removal, and related services. After training, you will run jobs independently and eventually lead a helper or junior technician. This role requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with customers.

You’ll be the lead on-site — ensuring quality, efficiency, and professionalism every step of the way.

Work Schedule

Mainly Monday through Friday , with some nights and weekends based on customer needs and seasonal demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpet, upholstery, and floor cleaning services using company equipment and procedures
• Lead jobs independently once trained, managing workflow and customer communication
• Train, guide, and oversee a helper or junior technician when assigned
• Inspect job sites, identify cleaning needs, and recommend solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment
• Ensure all work meets V&V’s high standards for quality and customer satisfaction
• Handle job documentation, payment processing, and customer follow-up when needed
• Represent V&V Carpet Care with professionalism, respect, and integrity at all times

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Leadership qualities — confident, organized, and able to guide others
• Experience in carpet cleaning or related fields is a plus, but we will train the right person
