Job Description

Network Deployment Technician – Low Voltage / Networking

Location: Atlanta / Alpharetta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time, W-2 + Benefits
Pay: Approximately $75,000/year, based on experience
Travel: Frequent travel throughout the Southeast – company-paid approved travel accommodations

Build Your Career in Network Infrastructure

We are hiring Network Deployment Technicians to join a rapidly growing Atlanta-based team supporting commercial network infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with low-voltage, structured cabling, network installation, or field technician experience who wants consistent full-time work, hands-on technical training, and the opportunity to grow into more advanced networking and field engineering responsibilities.

You do NOT need to be a senior network engineer.

We are looking for technicians who understand the physical side of networking—someone who can run cable, install equipment, work in network closets, follow instructions, and represent the company professionally at customer locations.

What You'll Do

  • Install and replace wireless access points, network switches, and other network hardware
  • Perform network rack-and-stack, mounting, patching, and cable management
  • Run and install Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling
  • Terminate RJ45 connections and patch panels
  • Install and organize network racks, cabinets, and equipment
  • Label, route, dress, and test network cabling
  • Assist with equipment turn-up alongside remote network engineers
  • Troubleshoot basic cabling, connectivity, power, and hardware issues
  • Document completed installations, equipment information, photos, and test results
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the Southeast

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have experience in low voltage, structured cabling, network installation, data centers, telecom, or commercial technology deployments.

Most importantly, you must be:

  • Based in the Atlanta / Alpharetta area and able to report to the local office daily
  • Willing and able to travel frequently throughout the Southeast
  • Comfortable working around network equipment and network closets
  • Experienced with low-voltage cabling and/or network hardware installation
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Able to follow technical instructions and work with remote engineering teams
  • A strong communicator with good attention to detail
  • In possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Wireless access point installation
  • Network switches
  • Rack-and-stack
  • Cat6 / Cat6A
  • RJ45 termination
  • Patch panels
  • MDF / IDF environments
  • Cable testing and certification
  • Fiber optic cabling
  • Firewall installation
  • Network refresh or rollout projects
  • Commercial low-voltage installations

Why Join This Team?

This is not a temporary project or short-term contract assignment.

You'll be joining a dedicated regional deployment team supporting an expanding network infrastructure program with ongoing work throughout the Southeast.

You'll receive:

  • Full-time W-2 employment
  • Competitive compensation targeting approximately $75,000/year
  • Benefits
  • Company-paid approved travel accommodations
  • Consistent project work
  • Ongoing technical training
  • Networking OEM product training
  • Support from experienced network engineers and project leadership
  • Opportunities to develop stronger networking, wireless, firewall, and low-voltage skills
  • Advancement opportunities into Lead Technician, Network Deployment, and Field Engineering roles

If you're a sharp, dependable field technician who enjoys hands-on work, doesn't mind traveling, and wants to build a long-term career in network infrastructure, we want to hear from you.

Apply today.

Qualified candidates will be contacted quickly for interviews.
