Job Details

This local yard jockey role is based in Moreno Valley, California, and pays $30 per hour. You will move domestic trailers within a facility yard using a yard truck with a hydraulic fifth wheel, with no public-road driving required. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a local assignment with a consistent Friday through Sunday schedule.

Pay & Schedule

• $30 per hour
• Friday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Local yard work in Moreno Valley, California

What You'll Be Doing

• Move and reposition domestic trailers within the facility yard using a yard hostler.
• Connect, move, position, and disconnect trailers at designated locations.
• Remove and place wheel chocks, connect and disconnect air lines, and place and remove glad hand locks.
• Operate equipment with a hydraulic fifth wheel, so manual trailer landing gear cranking is not required.
• Perform no-touch yard movements without operating on public streets or roadways.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A, CDL B, or Driver's License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
